I know you guys want to see how to handle those inks stains. I couldn’t make it perfect, but I could make it better and more appealing to a buyer.
I use leather degreaser from @furnitureclinic to leech a lot of the ink out of the suede backed leather, and it worked well plus didn’t damage it. Then I carefully sanded off as much as I dared to further lighten up the stains.
I think a buyer would be happy with how this turned out, especially for a discounted price. Next up if the handles, which are proving more complicated than I thought. Stay tuned!
