You can do this process with any vintage Coach originals or other bags made of all the same material.
Do not bathe bags that have linings or are made from different mixed materials. They all react differently to water an can end up damaging the bag. Also do not bath suede bags or patent leather bags. Do not bathe coated fabric bags or novelty leather bags.
I used Dawn soap but really you can use any soap that removes oils. I’ve heard people have also used Murphy’s oil soap really successfully.
