Brand Profile: Tumi

This week I'm talking about Tumi. Everyone was passing on this at the bins, but I know Tumi pieces are quality made and that this could still have a long life, plus make me some profit. 🤑

Tumi was founded in 1975 and is pretty well known for their luggage so it's no surprise that it resells well over the $500+ range on Poshmark. Their travel bags & accessories also do well. In their own words, "Quality and assortment have made TUMI the leading international business, lifestyle, and accessory brand that travelers depend on. Simply put, we design for you. That is what we call the TUMI Difference."

What is not as well known about this brand is their commitment to sustainability. They have a full range of bags made from recycled materials. They also offer in store repairs and sell replacement parts for their bags. They even create a unique ID# for each of their bags, which you can register with the brand so that it can be found and returned to you. I love that they are thinking about keeping their products from landfills and making them to last generations.

These bags can take a lot of punishment, so don't be discouraged if it looks beat; mine was! See the before and after above. They can still flip fo great profit, see below! I sold it on Poshmark last year for $54. If you see these in the wild, they are always worth looking up.
